This is it!!!  American River College is finally advertising its full-time
tenure track physics teaching position.  If you or anyone you know has at
a Master's degree (or PhD) in physics and a real desire to teach, please
take note of the following information.  PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ... We
hope to attract a good field of candidates for this job.  (I have been
teaching in the Los Rios Community College District for 21 years and still
love it!  It's a great job and the pay scale tops out at $58,795 (MA) and
$61,729 (PhD) There is an additional 4% step after 20 years of service on
top of this.  Starting salaries begin at around $30,000 depending on
education and experience.) There is no "in house person" who has their
"foot in the door" ... This job is wide open!!  The job starts this
January.  Interested applicants must submit two complete sets of
