Reporting network problems

A mechanism has been set up to enable offsite users to report network problems to the SLAC network support staff. They ask that all problem reports be sent by e-amil to:
         HELP@SLAC.Stanford.EDU
When submitting problem reports please include the following information.
  1. Output from a PING from your site to the SLAC node you are conecting to e.g.
    % ping slda1.slac.stanford.edu
    PING slda1.slac.stanford.edu: (134.79.120.27): 56 data bytes
    64 bytes from 134.79.120.27: icmp_seq=0 ttl=254 time=19 ms
    64 bytes from 134.79.120.27: icmp_seq=1 ttl=254 time=2 ms

Who you are, and when you experienced the problems would probably be useful too, and of course the more information you can provide the more likely you are to find your problems solved.
