IDA3 Conversion for SLD: Task List

This is the list of conversion tasks identified in the meeting between Toby, Richard, Gary, Tony and Joe on 17 March 95.

The list is more or less ordered by what work must precede what other work.

Shareables
- IDA - define stub (Toby,Gary)
- HBOOK/CERNLIB - get code and create shareables (Gary)
CMDPROC
- develop strategy to make work with both IDA2 and IDA3 (Toby)
- do it (Richard)
HIGZ UG Driver - test it (Joe)
OPENTAPE REXX - test it (Joe)
HOUT REXX - write it (Toby)
MIDAS - convert to using HBOOK (Tony,Joe)
RTH/EPEM - convert to using HBOOK (Gary,Tony,Joe)
Migration
- Compiled Code
  - figure out what changes users need to make
  - write conversion code to make some of their old code still work
- IDAL Code
  - figure out what changes users need to make
  - write conversion code to make some of their old code still work
Fix bugs found by extensive shakedown of IDA3 (Toby)
Do all of the above without killing VM code
Document how users can migrate (Toby,Joe)
